    Overflow Boxes

Even after watching the podcast i still dont understand what makes having an overflow box so special. Does it simply prevent the main tank from completely siphoning out into your sump in the event of a power outage? Is that what all the fuss is about?
Some people believe that their works are nothing more than a drop in the ocean, but the ocean would have been less without that drop.

the point of an overflow box is to bring water from the tank to the sump/fuge..

they are used when tank hasn't been or cant be drilled and hard plumbed

and yes they during an outage the dank will not drain, however some designs may loose siphon during a power outage preventing it from draining when your return water pump is powered back up

    does that help?

the video podcasts have to be played in iTunes or in Quicktime (audio podcasts are standard MP3 and can be played using any standard MP3 player/app)

there are instructions on using iTunes here in the FAQ's
