    Red sea star swelling

    Hello all -

Just recently I introduced a red sea star to my RSM Nano. After a few days, it has been all over the tank, rocks, substrate, and glass. Today, I saw it curled up in the back of the tank and suddenly it showed itself on the side and attached itself to a rock. I noticed something very strange - like it had swelled. And in the top center of it, it had a little transparent bubble-like thing. Is this normal?

I've never kept one, so I can't say specificaly, but I will tell you their survival rate in home aquaria is very, very poor. Their diet is poorly understood, and most starve and dissolve.
