What's the depth? Squamosa clams are fairly tolerant of low light, but they also grow pretty big (if I recall correctly), so 45g may be too small in the long run.
i have a 45 gallon tank with 96 watt 10,000 and 96 atnic and a regular 20 watt pc is that enought light to have a squamous clam???

as mentioned, the lighting should be fine, barring an excessive tank depth. T. squamosa can get large, but you should be fine size-wise for awhile.
clams appreciate a stable, mature system, and you'll do best if your tank has at least 6 months of maturity under its belt. also, you'll want to keep an eye on your Ca...450-475 ppm is best, but be sure to keep it above 400 ppm.
