To my knowledge these are etremely beautiful Reef Safe fish. As far as their activity I'm am unsure of since I always see them in small 10 to 15 gallon aquariums where they are pretty motionless.
Hello,
I was just wondering if these fish were peaceful? are they reef safe? and are they pretty active fish? thanks in advance..............Shaun

IME they are not very active but are peaceful reef citizens.

just to chime in, this is one of the cardinals that can (and should) be kept in small groups. they will interact amongst themselves, and a group will be more active than a single specimen.

Hello,
Thanks everyone for the help, Ya sax I will get a group of them................Shaun
Sorry to intrude, but would the same apply to Banggai Cardinalfish? Such as a group of 3.
It's not the size of the boat, it's the motion of the ocean, but it takes a long time to get to London in a row boat.
nope...Banggais only do well singly or in a mated pair, otherwise, they'll fight.
