Well, my clown feeds the BTA shrimp pellets among other things.
Is feeding shrimp pellets to an anemone considerd a meaty food? I've been doing this for a few months now to my bta. can I do this long term? or should I go back to silversides?

Variety is usually the best answer.

i agree with blub, variety is prob a better option all round, although unless your pellets contain PO4 i dont see a real concern, with the animal itself there should be enough water to break the pallet.

My experience with anemones has been, if they take a food item in and, for what ever reason, they don't find it palatable, it will be expelled later. So, if he's keeping them down, don't worry about it. Like the other wonders above said, variety is the key in feeding and I concur.
