I dont know if it is a bubble coral, but keep an eye on those Anemonia majano. They can get out of control fast

ok i receive this peace of skelaton with xenias and polyps on it about three months ago well i noticed a little greenish looking bubble in the middle. i thought it was bubble algae at first but i couldnt ID it so i thought i would let it go. well i sold the xenias today and cut them off so the person could place the xenias on there landscaping. well i noticed this.
Now i think its a bubble coral but im not 100% on that. it is about one inch right now and looking very healthy.. is it fair to say this is a bubble coral tring to regrow?

nope, people around here know what they are and want them so i accomidate. ive went to LFS in dayton, athens and in cinci they all have them in there tank on live rock to sell..
Stop The World, I Want Off
to me it looks like a small section of a cynarina of some sorts.
yea i thought about before but i didnt want to hope for the best. i would love to have one but i dont want to get my hopes up on receiving a free one.
the one i matched the ID with is Here
i think the green ones are really cool.
oh and by the way good ID.

Nice you must be doing something right
i can't believe that people want majao aneones... I am doing me best to kill hundreds off in my aunt's tank.
i have decided to just get rid of mine, and ive been using a razor blade to cut them off the rocks. well really scrape them so theres no base left. in my tank its pretty easy they come right off...

If I notice one or some and the rock can be removed, then while doing a water change I will remove the LR from the tank and soak it in the bucket of water that I am dumping out for a few min. the lack of water flow tends to get them to open up then I inject them with a "Stop Aiptasia Applicator" ( syringe ) with strait Liquid Calcium or Kalkwasser and they melt instantly ( I do this all in the waist Salt water not in the tank) then return the LR to the tank. If it cant be removed then I wait till my Calcium is low and I do the same within the tank making sure to use less Calc than I need to add and to not get the Strait Calc on any other corals.
Just to clarify things...Spurilla Neapolitana eat the "majanos" and "tulips". It is suspected there are more species that do, but I found no reports of any others and definitely none in the aquarium trade. Spurilla Neapolitana are not commercially available either, so it is manual removal unfortunately.
But to get back on topic, nice recovering coral, please update with pictures as it recovers.

thanks, i moved it to alittle less current and alittle more light and it is taking off. i hope it makes it all the way threw. i think its pretty cool it recovered from being the size of a pill
