Hey Walrus, What did you hook the air fitting to? An aqualifter, a powerhead, or something else? That's really the only reason I didn't get one, I didn't know what hook it to. I even thought about adding an extra port on my beckett head for my skimmer.

you don't have to hook it up to anything. the option is just there......if you wish to hook it up, aqualifter, powerhead, or even return pump will do. just not to the a beckett head or any other air injection to a protein skimmer.

So if I were to go with an overflow box that can handle 700 gph, what would be a good pump to match that too?

I have about 4 feet of headloss and I want to add a SCWD. I don't know what that does for headloss...

yeah, sorry to be so vague..

its really up to you. im not sure that the head loss is on a Mag 9, but you could probably get a mag 7 or a mag 5. i would stay away from RIO personally.

Just wondering if you tried you Auto Top off (blueline) yet as I am trying to figure out which one to buy

Tsunami like you have, JBJ ATO or the Tunze Osmolator

the prices go up and up and if the Tsunami does the job I will use that one

    sorry for being a pest
