    Wendy,

What an elegant solution, get a fish you want, get rid of the worms you don't want and then hatch brine shrimp to feed the mandarin.

    Rainfordi Compatability...

    Greetings!

In one's opinion, is a Rainfordi different enough from a yellow watchman goby and algae eating blenny to co-exist in a RS Max (mixed corals/polyps/zoas) or will he bee overwhelmed by them?

    Gracias!

    Hi joe welcome to TR.
I dont think adding another gobie would be good for your biocube. I think its too small and there will be some territorial issues.

It's actually in the RS Max (34 g?)... There's about 45-50 lbs of rock, but I read that they could be easily harassed. So, i was not sure whether I wanted to take the chance. The BC is stocked with corals/zoas/richs and already has spotted mandarin and black bar goby/tiger pistol shrimp pair... Thanx for the opinion!

    Hi Joe and to TR.

I think that I would not go with the Rainfordi. I believe it will snack on pods as does your watchman goby. Your tank is too small to support enough pods foe the mandarin. Unless it is eating prepared foods it will starve to death and the other pod snackers will just hasten this.
