I think the lack of new podcasts, flood of new sites, & life in general has scene the decline of participation. I still post updates on my build thread though.

I'm sure it will turn around. Reefing is like "gold fever"...when you get it, you got it...lol. Just curious...do you get e-mail notifications when someone replies to a thread you're a part of? I stopped getting them like a year ago. If it is like that for everyone, it would explain the lack of participation. I found that I came back more when I knew someone had replied to a comment instead of searching the threads for a reply.

At the top right hand corner click Settings then general settings under My Account in the left nav pane and look at default subscription make sure you have an option that includes email notifications. Then click on Save changes at the bottom right corner. If that doesn't work let me know and I will have Rob look into it.

I took your advise and checked the default thread sub mode and it says "instantly, using email".
I did notice if I go to my subscribed threads page that all the threads are there but none of the notification boxes are checked. So I check all the subscription boxes and scroll down to the bottom and there is a box that says "selected threads". Under "update subscription type" nothing is marked so I select "instantly, using email" then push "go" and it brings me back to the subscribed thread page and none of the threads are checked....back to square 1. Any chance thats the issue? I'm fairly computer stupid so I hope this makes some sense
