Pregnant clown no babies

I have 2 blk n white clowns. They are about 2 and i think one was pregnant cause she looked like she swallowed a marble. Needless to say nothing happened n shes back to size. I just moved my third clown into a seprate tank because the prego female is now very aggressive. Did she not lay cause she was threatened by the 3 rd clown that i moved out.

My guess is that she laid but someone got the eggs. Or if she felt threatened she could have eaten them.
