    Lyretial Anthias - Pseudanthias squamipinnis

Received a pair (m/f) of the Anthias Pseudanthias squamipinnis yesterday. Today the male came out of hiding to feed on cyclop-eze. I too the opportunity to capture him on my htc Enspire phone.

Cool thing, these smart phones. The picture quality truly amazes me.

Recently, I have been attending to a mixed school of Barletts and Evans. I am not sure if I should expand the diet beyond the goldfish pellets. Someone suggested frozen mysis shrimp, but it seem to cost more than pellets so being as cheap as I am, I will continue to use this 5 pound bag of pellets until it is completely used up. These are large pellets and should go a long way.

However, I noticed that many of these pellets are now stuck to the intake of my filter and has begun to look white and fuzzy. My filter is making an unusual noise and water seems to be coming out of the waterfall very slow. I am puzzled, as the fish now seem more relaxed, bobbing casually in the current with the mouths wide open and eyes glazed..........is that fish utopia?

By the way, can I float my 1 gallon goldfish bowl in ths fish tank and turn the bowl into a tropical fish bowl? The Spinning of the fish bowl should provide enough aeration, shouldn't it?

Hmmm, I think you definitely need to spend more time at TR! We need to brush up your fish keeping skills.
