Starting March 27 and lasting four days, the annual mass coral spawn is anticipated in the Dampier Archipelago, Ningaloo Marine Park and Abrolhos Islands.

Bob snowden from ppg aquarium here in pa came to our local aquarium society meeting earlier this month and did a topic on coral husbandry. He said that they (researchers) are trying to take some of these corals and start to collect gametes and grow in a lab. Pretty interesting stuff.
