3 Purple Firefish Gobies, 2 LPS Corals and 1, Red, Zo-anthid!
The 3 purple firefish gobies were quarantined by a friend for almost 3 months, and were quite a surprise! The 2 LPS corals were my new Torch and Galaxia which I purchased for myself... I mean for Blizzard! ...and the Red Zoa was actually a present for my little brother, who lives in a different state and doesn't have a tank... so I have no choice but to keep it in my DT for him! They're pretty! The Torch has been acting a little funky lately, but I've only had him for about 2 weeks now and I've been on call, so I haven't given the tank much attention lately. I also got a device that will display the temp of up to four of my tanks on a little digital display I can sit on my desk, it's wireless! It's by Springfeild, so we'll see how it fares in real use. Non reef related presents included but were not limited to a real Daito Katana made by a Japanese sword maker, in Japan!... My older brother lived there for a while and he worked for a sword maker while he was in collage. He built it specifically for my dimensions (dead center of your chest to the very tip of your middle finger, plus the length of your pinkie finger) so it's a really LONG sword (I'm kinda tall, not really tall though, I see people taller than me at least a couple times a month). My wife asked me what i was going to do with a sword... Duh! Hack zombies up when the Zombie Apocalypse happens! But until then, it's going on a wall not taken up by a fish tank... If I can find one.
