    Fragging my green tree question

My tree has grown a couple branches that are about 1 1/2". Are they big enough to cut. I ask this because I constantly have to prune my other trees and when I cut that it grows back twice as fast as before. Do you think cutting would promote new growth or do more harm than good since its only about 3 inches tall.

From what I have been reading, yes I think fragging does cause growth. On my local forum there was a guy doing a study on this (but instead of soft corals he fragged arco's) but it proved that fragging does cause more growth all around. His arco's doubled in size it was quite amazing.

I think it is big enough to at least take one frag from. Watch it then and see how fast it grows back.

I think thats the plan I'm going with. I'm pretty sure the tree will survive seeing what that (bleep bleep) crab did to it a while back. And it gives me a reason to get the camera out again.
