VERY IMPORTANT FOR EVERYONE TO SIGN!
theyre trying to sneak a bill through right now in Hawaii to stop the collection of fish for the aquarium trade. they've attached this to a bill that almost no one will vote no for so there is a good possibility that it will pass. I have a friend in Hawaii that trying to stop it but they need some signatures to help fight their case. so if you dont want to see Hawaii get shut down, take two seconds to sign the petition. he's trying to get 500 by sunday. thanks.

Actually I signed it on the 23rd. I haven't heard if there was enough signatures by the deadline though. If anyone knows.....I'm curious.
I signed it a couple days after Amphibious posted it, and I seem to remember that being a day or two before the deadline. My number was... 530? Somewhere around there. I agree with Amphibious though... As well respected as he is, it's hard to believe that all 514 active members don't look at his posts, so did the rest just not post that they signed it, or do the really not care enough to sign it? I also posted it on FB, but I never really get on FB (TR is just more geared towards my interests) so I don't know how that went. I think the goal was met though. Lets hope it fared better than the "net Neutrality Bill".
I didn't know we had to respond in the thread here. I tend to try not to clutter up threads, but it doesn't mean I don't read them.
