Hi Mitch,
I don't know much about pipes but I think his ventral fin looks kind of tattered and I don't think the patches look normal. I have PM'd a couple of people who know more than I do and asked them to take a look.
I bought a pair of Jansii pipefish about 3 weeks ago.
Seem to be eating Cyclopeze pretty well.
I've noticed white patches on one of them.
They hide in lace rock all day. Could this be injury to do we think this is a disease, and if so, what do I do about it?
Thanks.

Hi Mitch,
I got this email back from one of my buddies.
I would treat with prazi-pro, add Selcon gutted live baby brine shrimp, try to get them to eat PE Mysis. Buy live Pods and add. I added a hang-on cpr fuge to make sure live pods get to them.

Yikes...I've been out f circulation for awhile, but I had a PM from Carmie so I hopped on over. How is the Janss' ?
It really looks like a bacterial infection to me, and Maracyn2 is the current broad-spectrum antibiotic of choice for Syngnathids.
