Watts per gallon isn't a very helpful number. Consider that a 20 gallon tank can be either 12 or 18" tall and you can see the problem. I think that with the corals that you have you will be OK with the 6700's.
I had gotten my lights with my tank and they were used to keep hard corals so I never worried if they would be strong enough for my softies....it consits of 2 Actinics and a MH. the Balasts have blown out on the Atinics.
It is a 65gals
I have a coralife 2 bulb system with 6700K T5o's in there will this be enough for my softies, I have button polyps, a toadstool leather, Zoas, and shrooms, should I contiune to run the MH the 4 hours I do along with the T5's
i will need to order new balasts for this hood and replace them , thank the gods my husband is good with wiring.
I am not good with this math stuff so I am not sure of the Watts per gallon and how to figure it out, I did not have to be since I knew the lighting was strong enough for hard corals
thanks in advance
