Question on Sales Price for Flourescent Green Horn Coral Hydnophora rigida

Ok, long title but I cut and paste from a search. Anyway, I have about 15 of these I will be selling and trying to figure out the price. I found that PetSolutions sells them delivered for $60 so I am thinking $35 pickup? This is not a sales pitch but more inquiry details unless you want to buy one of course... but, they are on frag plugs, about 1 inch in size now, though I have had them grow relatively fast under my tank conditions. I use T5 lights (420nm, 460nm, 10000k, 12000k). Was previously under a PC420nm and 2 T5 12000k. They are a bright flourescent green and have been very colorful. Anyway, here is a picture of the frag farm and one that I fragged 6 months ago and now will be the one I keep for my 55 g tank. I have 3 large bases from which I will be farming out of the nano. Funny, a nano farm.... I wonder if my wife would let me build a real 6 ft x 2f x 12 inch deep frag system to make a run at the business.....

as always, my pics never seem as good as life. The color is always much better in person.... I have seen some of these that are dull, but these really pop. And under the LED's for moon light these things really glow something freaky.

Ha, I was thinking that they were very green! I think at swaps around here they go for $25 or 30.

The prices you listed are in line for retail around here as well, but I can pick up neon hydno frags at our local swaps for $10 all day long.

Well, now, that sucks. So I guess the question is where I can get buyers....

I think you'll find some buyers in the $20-$35 range. You may wish to leave some negotiation room though.

Well that is good. So I will leave my price at $35 and allow for them to "bring my price down". Make them feel better about it. But it was funny to see the same size corals in Sandy's for the same price. On the other hand, I am considering to supply another store as trade for other goodies.
