Ok you guys have done so well so far I need a more help.
I was making greasy nose prints on the glass yesterday and found this growing out of my LR. Perfectly symetrical 6 point snowflake looking thing. Not a feather duster as far as I can tell but it is in a nook so I can't get a side view on it.
In one picture I took with my I-Phone there is a turbo snail above it to show size. I'd say the size of a de-hydrated pea. Just for reference on the flat area above there ARE at least 20 feather dusters blooming that look nothing at all like this growth, they all have that familular palm frawn apperance.
SO... Can you tell me what I have going on here? PLEASE

Well that stinks! My tank hasn't completly cycled yet so I have wary of buying pepermint shrimp as I thought they would be victims of the pollution.
As of last night I have:
Ammonia @ .13
Nitrites @ .06
Nitrates @ 1.5
Almost there.... His days are numbered

+2 on the aptasia. I love peppermint shrimp, i have always been lucky mine always destroyed my aptasia.
