Hi Corry and to TR! You are wise to do your research up front, it will save you loads of money in the end. I am in the US so I can't help you with prices but hopefully one of our members from Australia will be along soon.
Here are a few general comments about all in one tanks. Technically 130L is not a nano tank but that is a pretty small volume of water and you will have to monitor it closely for parameter swings. If you want to keep corals you should forgo the bio-media and it makes it difficult to keep the nitrates down. I personally would not use the sponges because unless they are rinsed frequently they will also become a habitat for nitrifing bacteria. For good denitrification I would recommend that you use about 15 - 20 kg of rock in the tank.
I don't know specifically about the Red Sea Max but many all in one tanks come with an underpowered return pump and people change them out for a higher flow pump. I'd also add a stream type powerhead or two to increase flow in the tank. Flow can be as important to corals as light is.
Some backwards LFS (local fish stores) and older books still recommend cycling the tank with live fish. This is NOT necessary, is cruel to the fish and, if the fish survives the cycle, leaves the owner with fish they don't necessarily want. You can achieve the same thing by dropping a raw shrimp into the tank or just adding a big pinch of food.
