lol yes i was aware of that but somthing i am not sure about is .... once a male turns female he cant change back, can he ? so it could be possible that when getting fish from the LFS too pick up 2 females
Yes, that is correct it is a one way change. It is technically possible to get 2 females but they would have to have been in different tanks because if they were in the same tank they would immediately start fighting. If you are getting 2 fish that are already in the same tank they both would not be female. If your LFS are like ours, they often have a bunch of clowns together in a tank and most usually they are juvies.

cool i thought that would be the case .... i find my 2 clowns very distinctly diffferently looking ... and thought these 2 looked the same as my female ... anyway ; ) yeh couple of LFS here do just keep a mixed clown tank of all sorts and can have severeal females ... its why i always leave that store with more then i intended coz i want to save them from fighting lol
