I found the green ball like object thing in my propagation tank with my corals. It seems to be getting bigger.... Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Looks like green bubble algae to me. Get it out with a net without popping it or it will release its spores and before you know it there is a ton more.

+1 on bubble algae. You can also siphon it out.

Alternative suggestion. If you have little children it may be a sweet pea they did not want to eat. If that is the case, they will start showing up all over the house.... (ok, yep, bubble algae. really cool to look at until they cover everything....)

Valonia or more commonly called bubble algae. Emerald Crabs usually do a great job of removing it.

Yeah, but will emerald crabs propagate the valonia more than they will eat? I sometimes wonder...My tuxedo urchin sometimes has undesirable algae on it's body, and I sometimes wonder if the urchin propagates the algae as much (or more) than it eats.

I have never experienced that nor has anyone I know. Mine has always been picked clean in a matter of days and does not come back.

If the exterior is popped (by any means.... even a mithrax) while it has daughter cell inside, it can spread. But those daughter cells are not always present, so it's a little gamble.
