I have just been looking through Sprung's Algae book and I think it may be Dictyota.

What ever it is it sucks! hooked the ATS back up to see if it makes a difference. Dont know if it is Dictyota because it really has no leaf, but I looked it up and there are about 4,563,234 different species so who knows????? Thanks lady....Penelope is unbelievably awesome, my life would not be complete w/o her, well that is until she turns 12-13....then she'll be up for adoption...lol. When do you start school?

Alga are a diverse and persistent group of plants. They have managed to survive all earth’s calamities and the onslaught of chemicals produced by man to eradicate it. Unfortunately, it will come back. You have to seek out what is fueling it’s growth, eliminate or reduce that fuel and the algae will no longer be a nuisance. Two of the most common fuels are Nitrate and Phosphate. Have you tested for them?

Penelope (I love her name) LOOKS unbelievably awesome!!! There are two books I’ve read that prepares a Dad for the “teen” years. I’m so impressed with the advice given in these books that I buy them in volume and give them away. Every Dad needs to have these books on hand for the inevitable of having a teen daughter. You need to read them and begin preparing yourself and her for those trying years. The advice given is not something you’d think of in advance nor does it come naturally. If you PM me your address, I’ll send them your way. What do you need to do in return? Nothing, except read them now and keep them handy into her teen years. I’ve found it beneficial to read them to young girls. There reaction is a “hoot” and often very rewarding. She will begin to understand your depth of love for her and will appreciate what you are doing for her. You’ll understand when you read them. Call it my contribution to Penelope’s healthy, happy and successful future. Besides, I love kids!

Thanks for the advice, yes, yes of coarse I have check all of levels, i know why I have algae...my RO water slipped to 25 ppm...my question is what kind is it? Not bubble, hair, slime...I have all those...I dont mind....but this one is different...just want an ID.
Side note: as long as the book/s have nothing to do with any type of religion i'll take them....I don't want to taint my daughter...it's her life and she should decide what her faith is when she gets older...all I can do now is teach her what is right.

One’s religion is a personal and private choice. While based on Christian values the books do not mention any religion. I wouldn’t try to direct you or anyone in a particular religious direction. PM me.
