by the way thats a rib cage tattoo, it took me 2 sittings 4 hrs each
I have been a tattoo artist for 12 years and i have to say, all these tattoos on the forum makes me kinda jealous. I rarely have an opportunity to do art work of the subject i love so much(The reef of course). The artist's that get these request should feel lucky ...all the tattoos ive seen on here have been great, very original tattoos. Here is a pic of the most requested fish tattoo that i have done. koi of course....lol
thanx to everyone that has posted their tat pics of reef, fish and creatures of the deep. its always nice to see.

That is nice. Is it yours or did you do it on someone else?

Christ bud that's not a 6 pack, that's a case. sweet tat fatso, will the orange & blue fade much over time?
Vquilibrium Productions
thats not me its a customer...lol im not the fatso V, the color is called millenium ink its a new pigment that gets brighter in time and dosent fade as long as there is no uv exsposure. this pic was took two weeks after being completed. so its actually brighter now.

ah well, slight over sight then sorry about that, so thats pretty sweet, only issue is, im an Ozzie & last i checked there was plenty of sun, so how would i get my own brighter ink, and dont tell me its as simple as splashing sunscreen over the top..lol
Vquilibrium Productions
lol well...you put the tat in a place the sun dosent get too very often lol.. ok seriously the pigment in this ink is very high, after about 3 months it reaches its peak and stays that way and doesnt fade as fast. tattoo shops all over the world can grab this ink online. check out some local shops and ask for millenium if they dont have it they can get it easily. They even have invisible tattoo ink that only shows under a blacklight. it glows lol.

really, thats nuts, although unless your a raver, pretty pointless. so how do they tap it, under those blacklights?
I'd love to get a tat of Anubis, just never got round to it due to fear of my taste changing over time.
Im one for symmetry also , so a single pack piece thats not over the top & im done id say.
Maybe one day, i believe i said the exact same phrase 20 years ago..lol

That is beautiful work, but a hard to fill list for someone who is outdoors oriented. I had a fairy done on my right upper shoulder blade, but alas, with my need for sun, surf and fishing.... she's a native fairy gone wild. Lol Perhaps this is why I see about 70% tats done with nothing but black and mainly silhouettes or native design banding?

Michael,
i've always wondered...say i wanted to get some ink done of a particular fish. how tuff is that to do? would i bring in a pic and the artist would do sketches or what? as you know, Renee and i have some pretty wild-looking fish.
Greg
Very nice work! I was so wondering what part of the body that was on when I first saw it!!
I have a 2" Mickey Mouse about 2" above my ankle that I just had to have when I was 23 yrs of age. I wanted it gone after 6 months due to it not really fitting in with business suits and meetings with the powers that be to negotiate contracts. I resorted to wearing a skin colored bandage over it daily until the day I retired, (quit to stay home with the kiddos). I don't like my kiddos seeing it and wanting one either!!!
They are pretty on others.
My exact sentiments. Never had the urge to get one myself. Have seen some beautiful tats on others.Originally Posted by saltaddict

saxman, yes thats pretty much it but that would kinda fall under the portrait catigory, and alot of tattoo artist are like airbrush artist they have some designs they are use to doing and anything out of them would be called custom work and its a bit more money and some cant even do that kinda of work.

saltaddict, have you done any research on tattoo removal cream? it really works i promise. it just takes a while to make the tattoo totally vanish. it makes the ink fade from the skin more and more with every application until it is totally gone away. totally painless yet a lil costly indeed.
