its a spaghetti worm IMO
I spotted this the other day. It is on the glass and almost appears one dimensional. It is <1/2" in any direction.

I think it’s not a spaghetti worm. They look like this...
I’m thinking Hydroid of some type.

I agree that it's not a spaghetti worm. I don't have any idea what it is, but it's slightly frightening

Very neat looking but I agree with Dick probably a Hydroid of some sort.

I wondered about a hydroid but it doesn't look like the other ones I have seen.

Its been in hiding for awhile what ever it is, look at those colours. To me it looks like a estranged Medusa Hydroid

got it! its an alien brain sucker! or more commonly known as ABS. very rare and not of this world. extremely harmless unless attached to ones head. In that case you will have to stick your head in the toilet and flush not 6 times but 7. this should give you and him a terrible headache at which point he will let go and go down the drain. Good Luck CJ!
That is a very odd creature. The pic, to me, looks like he is situated in the sand bed. Probably just the angle of the shot. Does he retract when you get near or the light/shadow changes?

Hi Lori,
It is on the glass about 3/4" up from the sand bed. I have never seen it retracted and it does not react to light or motion.
