    Encouraging GSP growth

    Morning all!

    I have about 2" square frag of GSP on a cut piece of rock. I've stuffed it in a corner of the tank against the back right now. I really want this to grow up the back wall in the corner.

    Anyone have any tips to help encourage growth? It's pretty full and healthy, even with a sexy shrimp hanging out in it.

    Water (API test kits)
    SG 1.028
    NO2/3 = 0
    Ammonia = 0
    Kh = 160 (it's low, working on bringing it up)

    Cheerios!

    As long as your water parameters are in check 9and they seem to be), and it's getting sufficient light, it will be growing like a weed before you know it. There's no way to feed GSP, so water quality, light and time are the only things that will make it grow. Once it gets established, it should grow quickly though.
