A few more pics.
I finally got around to replacing the brand new underwater camera I lost at Water Country over the summer. I love using this thing.

There is no elevator to success in marine tanks. You have to take the stairs.

nice job Phurst...on the coral as well as the pix!
how did you frame them (i'm assuming you just stuck the camera down into the tank)?
Greg
Hey Phursty, why don’t you tag these with names so we can know what we’re looking at??? What camera are you using???

Thanks for sharing the great pix.
I've found myself taking pix daily (often several times) since getting seahorses a couple weeks ago. Today I acquired a quick release for my 30 yr old tripod.
What kind of cam do you have? How do you focus it underwater - stick your head in the tank?
I'd also request the names of the critters if you know them.
This is the camera I'm using. Surprisingly cheap for a waterproof digital.

Yes, V, Water Country is a theme park.
Welcome to Water Country USA
Stupid camera fell out of my pocket in a wave pool.
As far as focus and framing go, It's usually no problem to see the LCD screen either looking down into the tank, or looking at it through the glass, depending on what angle I'm shooting at. It's auto-focus, and has a really great macro mode. It also has an "underwater" shooting mode that helps take some of the blue out of the pictures.
As far as what everything is, I can only give you general species info, as I think only one of those has a fancy name.
1) Pink Milliepora
2) Pink Birdsnest (seriatopora)
3) 'Frog In A Blender' Birdsnest (seriatopora)
4) Unknown Acropora species
5) Pink Yuma Ricordea
6) Orange lobophyllia
7) Green Milliepora
8) ORA 'Phil's Granulosa' (acropora granulosa)
9) Unknown Acropora sp.
10) Orange Digitata
11) ORA Green Birdsnest (seriatopora)
12) Unknown Acropora sp.
13) Unknown Acropora sp.
14) Blue Acropora Tortuosa
15) Palytoa sp. (these guys are actually names after me. 'Pearson Palys')
