    Finally set up frag tank

I've been meaning to do this for a while now, and have had the parts laying around for some time. I finnaly got up off my butt and got it done

It's a 15 gallon frag tank, with a 10 gallon dedicated fuge under it. It's plumbed into the sump of my 150.

Water is pumped to the frag tank from the sump, where a split line flows half back into the sump, and half into the fuge, and the fuge then drains back into my sump.

The frag tank lighting is a Coralife 150W HQI clip on, and the fuge light is a pair of standard fluorescent tubes.

It's all plumbed in and running, but I still need to pick up a pair of K1s or something for flow in the frag tank. The stuff in there currently is the stuff that was in my experimental LED tank, which is going to a fellow reefer shortly.

Yes, my 150 is FILTHY in that picture. Please ignore

Congrats phurst! Tank looks great. Are you going to start selling frags from your frag tank? My DT is currently without any coral and would rather support a fellow reefer rather than any of the online stores. Well that is until Dick gets his up and running.

I don't really know. I haven't given it much thought. I mostly set it up because there are a bunch of frags in my 150 that aren't quite big enough to mount. i wanted to give them a home without having a frag rack in my main display tank. I'm also planning on growing out some frags for our clubs monthly meets/swaps, but I suppose selling every now and then isn't out of the question.

There is no elevator to success in marine tanks. You have to take the stairs.
