I would go with the cyclop - eeze. What type of corals are you wanting to feed?

Another one that I would go with and use is CoralVibrance from the cultured reef. I feed that with a mysis/brin shrimp mix to my LPS corals that can take foods like that and they love it. It can also be fed to many SPS corals.

Definitely depends on what corals you're feeding.

Because we reefers keep a variety of corals I recommend doing what I do. Mix a variety of foods together. From Reef Nutrition I use Phyto Feast, Roti Feast and Oyster Feast in equal portions, add to that frozen Cyclop-eze and Coral Vibrance and a liquid vitamin such as Sel-con or Boyd’s Vita Chem. When I feed, I turn off the pump to the overflow and leave the Koralia pumps on for circulation. Then, after thirty minutes or so, I turn off the koralias and let the tank sit with quiet water for thirty minutes or so. This gives a calm period like between tides. I know, not the same, but it pleases me. LOL.

To Newbies, or those that think there’s ONE food to feed all corals, this may seem excessive BUT, your dealing with sensitive, precious animals that are not cheap. They deserve the full menu of goodies to thrive. Treat them right, they will reward you. Treat them wrong and they will eventually wither and die. That’s not being a “Responsible Reefer” which of course is what you want to be, right?

You probably won’t find most of the items in your LFS. It would take a real forward thinking LFS to handle these food items. Those are far and few in-between. But, I wish you luck in your search.

i got a place about two hours away that sells almost everything you guys have mentioned, plus a bunch of live planktons. i think ill give them a try. they have similar pricing minus shipping costs, plus its in NH, so there is no sales tax.
