What do you use nto dampen vibration from a external pump ?

    Hey guys,

I just bought a reeflo hammerhead pump for my 450 dt. I've heard of using mouse pads to dampen vibration, what else do you recommend using ?

    Thanks,

    Jim

Mouse pads and short pieces of flexible tubing on the suction and discharge to break up vibration and sound transmission. Rigid piping is horrible for transmitting vibrations.

Ok - we have a pool and I had never heard of it!! Of course, there is nothing wrong with a few cracked heads on occasion - especially if it is the little sh-- from down the street whom really irks you!! LOL

you could put the pump in a small vented box and line the box with dynomat. it is used in vehicles to dampen vibration and sound.
