    Back again

I am confused, again. I just performed a 40% H2o change, the water is cloudy 24 hours later and all my readings are good! What gives? It just as cloudy tonight as it was this morning as it was last night. I used RO water, the temperature is ex-zachery the same. what can I do, and what could of caused this???

no-one ever stops in to say hi anymore.

Its all ... "My tanks crashing"......."ive got a milky haze"....."my cats pregnant, what do it do"? lol

refresh me, did we lock it down last time it happened?

Early days id say - Perform the same volumes, just stager it.

I haven't had this happen before. And seriously V, if you've got my cat pregnant again.... that explains the cloudy water!!
My water has been crystal clear from day 1 other than when my DusterWorm decides to "dust the tank"

There is no elevator to success in marine tanks. You have to take the stairs.

    Brent,

What is your Ca and alk readings? If they are OK I am going to guess that you have a bacterial bloom going on. IMO, 40% is an awfully big water change unless you are having an emergency. I think that you would be better off with 4 x 10% as it is less osmotic shock on the system.

Of course after I posted, it cleared up next morning. Carnie... Everything was good on my readings, I have no idea why I changed so much water... Thats what happens when I think on my own. Everything seems to be up and running, now should I be worried about that bacterial bloom you mentioned??
And hey, I have a new favorite fish..... Midas Blenny!!!
