    When to change?

Hi! I have a 65 Gallon aquarium. I have a 250 watts metal halide. I have been running it 6hrs for about 8 months now. When should I replace it? I already have a bulb for replacement. It's 15K. Thank you!

15k XM bulbs are some of the worst par bulbs on the market today, just so you know.

i usually run halide bulbs for 1 year, then replace them. their color shifts drastically after that long. you will notice an algae bloom if the shift happens before then.
