well id assume base rock would be more up your asking alley bud. Your starting out anyways so thats the way to go.

Just keep in mind, speaking from the average Aquarius, they absolutely kill us with how much they charge us, like daylight robbery. Id give you some if you were in the neighborhood, but id sure as sh^t expect a slab of beer once you've joined the working world thats for sure. But that currency down here, its just a given..lol

good luck bud, i hope someone in your area can find it to be generous enough.

I don't have any rock that isn't already in my tanks. But you might look for base, dry or lace rock (all different names for the same thing) at the LFS. This usually only costs a dollar or so a pound and would probably be cheaper than shipping. Also, keep an eye on craigslist for people tearing down a tank.

Also check out http://www.wtmrac.com/. They have a forum on RC where you might connect with someone local looking to sell some rock.

I agree with Carmie - it would be expensive to ship.

reefbeginer stop into kermits reef and see what they have for base rock or even try bobs tropical. kermits has alot of stuff but they tend to be snobs and bobs is good. talk to scarlet if she is still there. she is the owner and generally takes wonderful care of her customers.
