    Talking I finally got it

I have past my DMV permit test with only missing 4 ?'s . I am so relieved that I got it plus I drove home with my dad in the fog and only scared him twice but hes fine now. lol Now its only 6 months and I have my official drivers license I cant wait. I am so excited. Sorry I am babbling but its just too exciting not to share.

Thanks Bobby. I am sure once I have been driving for 5 years or less I will get sick of it too but for now its exciting. lol. The good thing is my car is 4x4 so it can do more than just street driving.

lol No I don't think I will be spending that on gas or a big mac even though a big mac sounds really good right now. LOL I plan on getting a job soon to pay for any gas I will be needing but that will be for a while. Right now I have to drive 6 months with my dad or mom in the car with me then I could drive alone. Any money I get is going to that savings I found $5 today and that is going to be added to the savings.

Congratulations Raymond , I've been driving just under a year and I still think it's awesome. Nothing quite like cruising along listening to some great music on a nice day.

lol I am defiantly not like any teen driver you have seen. Last night driving in the fog I was going 45 in a 60. Everyone that was passing me at 70 kept looking over at me looking shocked that I wasn't an old man but hey I guess I drive like one already. LOL J/K

Congratulations Raymond! That is fantastic! As the mom of a young driver I will give you the same advice we've given him; Be safe, drive defensive, don't speed and never drink and drive.

I totally agree. Its better to drive safely and live a day then drive recklessly and loose my or anyone else's life.

just take your time don't be in a rush to grow up so fast. my 5 year younger brother had his a year before I got my license and been in 3 miner wreaks since he had his.
me I drove my mom around with me for 5 years before I got my and every time I drive for people they tell me it looks like I been doing this for a long time.
I have avoided so many wreaks since I have been driving and scared the hell out of my friend the other day when I hit some black ice with his truck. I guess it pays off to be a mom's boy and watch NASCAR.

Raymond, you will do well as you seem to be a very grounded person. As the mother of two teen drivers I can tell you that it is bittersweet. I worry every time they are in the car but at the same time a weight is lifted from me trying to get four children to different places at the same time and constantly being in the car myself.

I know I am so sweet and lovable. I am like one of those tellytubbys you just want to come up to me and hug me. Dont you V do ya. Come on now give me a hug it wont hurt you. LOL

Actually I can become mean when I want too and normally no one likes to see me mad but I never have a reason to get mad on here and do tend to hold it in on some posts when people are rude to me or put words in my mouth that I did not say. When I hold it in I just call it mature.

There's two sides to that coin. & ether one is right. The other is not letting people ever walk on you, respectfully.

I remember my mother (exceedingly smart woman) once teaching me this very potent saying. "Civility Costs Nothing" 90% of the time is follow it to the letter, the other 10% i respectfully lash-out armed to the teeth with a suitcase of resources so there is definitely NO Creditable Come-back

Ive known you for 0.12% of your life, but already im seeing your growing up to be an outstanding gentleman.

My only worldly advice to you is, as you grow up, really push hard to uncover where all those missing socks go, & if you do find its a vortex doing it, push your misses in as well. I know it may not make any sense, but believe me, i just saved you years of ear bashing & rolls of fat on your belly

Oh no I don't let people walk all over me much anymore. I have had teachers, kids, and more people do that all my life when I was younger. I let them know where I stand and they deal with it. I know what you are thinking about the teachers but I respect them all and do not talk back unless they threaten my religion, or beliefs than I tell them they are wrong then tell them my points of veiw and walk out but I have not had that happen. I have had great teachers that I respect and am happy to learn from. Its just the teachers in the past that gave me detentions for no reason and bad grades, or told me that I was white because of my last name sounded like a white(ethnicity) persons name when really I am a mut that is mostly Mexican and Italian and more. Elementary years were tough on me. Thanks you V for giving me that advice I will take it to thought although I have already found out where my missing socks went to, my dog hides them under the bed. lol

Pat, great looking car looks like you had some fun doing donuts. but I don't think I will be doing that with my car. lol
