OK, we,ve gotten off track a bit but, I don't care. We are now posting most anything as long as a picture is included. So here's what appeared on our patio today. Who can ID it?
Yes I know it's a snake but what kind??? (I know, I want to see if YOU know)...
Who knows???

that looks an AWFUL lot like a CORAL snake !! with the yellow touching the red ... that says that it is not a king snake (coral snake look alike).
since we are on snakes ...
Holy snakes Batman. That's a lot of snake. I assume that's you in the picture, Bobby?
You guys got it right. It's a Coral Snake. Wandered onto our screened-in patio/pool area, under a door I guess. We just guided him out the other side door and off he went. He wasn't aggressive at all so we saw no need to destroy him. We've had Indigo Racers on the patio and they are very excitable and strike out at you with aggression. They are nonpoisonous but, I I don't want to get bit anyway.

Bit late to see it but even growing up in OH I found myself saying "Red touch yellow..."
We are getting ready to go up in Serena's Song the world's first wheel chair accessible balloon. Our bus contractor sponsors the balloon and I was there working the event. But, I got a ride too and one of the fellows took my camera and got my picture. If you click on the Raleigh photos in the media gallery you can see some pictures I took.
OMG I'm in love... okay... first time back in two weeks and that's ALL I have to add.. *sigh*
Hah! Nice to meet you.

This website isn't up anymore, but it's ad was my favorite - teehee.
