I would just like to add i like pictures but i hate being in them, so you can guess where the expression came from on my face. This picture was taken about a year ago at a small electric fire.. I wasnt expecting the picture lol
sweet, love seeing everyone behind the keyboard! in this virtual hang-out we tend to formulate our own mental image of someone based on context, its good to put a different spin on who we are talking to.
Here is a picture of me and my freind and fellow fire fighter last summer. We were on a crew for rescue if needed when they flew in some experimental copters for hight altitude training.I'm the one on the right LOL

Would you look at this cute little Tomboy. I'll bet you were tough on the boys playing football or what ever sport they let you in on. Thanks for sharing, Christi.

Ah, isn't that a sweet moment. Hi Georg. You've got a great girl in Christi. And a wonderful little girl, Hannah. Thanks again for sharing.

Hey Amp - you're supposed to post your OWN picture in your post, NOT someone else's!!! [IMG][/IMG]
okay...this is a funny picture of my daughter, Hannah. That's me in the back right, my sister in the back left, my daughter Hannah in front left and my nephew Nick in front right:

OK RB, you got me on that one. Thanks for the cute Kissie face.
Most of you know I'll never have natural Grandchildren. That fact causes me some heartache because I long to be a Grandfather. So, to compensate and get some relief I "adopt" other families' kids as Grandkids. Here are two of my favorites (Actually, I say that about all my G/kids).
I recently went "home" to Madison, WI for my 50th class reunion. While I was there I visited my hairstylist/barber Lisa for a trim. I asked if she would be at church Sunday. She said, "You just want to see the kids, don't you." The kids call me "Nemo guy" because when that movie came out, Vanessa and Dalton were pestering to have a Nemo fish. Lisa asked me to intervene and explain the problem with having a Nemo fish. They came over to the house one day and of course I had a pair of black Percs. The kids were captivated and went to tears when I explained why it wouldn't be wise to have Nemo in their home at this time. But, a good Grandpa always has a plan to comfort the sadness. I had picked up some Ocellaris Clown pins about 1" long. Just at the right time, tears flowing moment, I said they could have a Nemo pin. Wow, how quickly the tears turned to smiles and hugs. "Grandpa" saved the day and won over two little hearts.
Meet my adopted "Grandkids", Vanessa and Dalton Wagner of Madison, WI, my home town. Oh, and that's "Nemo guy" in the middle.

so, I'll add another grandchild to your collection! Here's a photo of Hannah and me on the island Föhr last Easter.
Hannah, sweet Hannah, has been in my heart and Grandkid collection since the first pictures you sent me.
Thanks, Christi. You mean a lot to me, too. Loved your early girl picture.
I suppose I owe another picture now. OK, here's Vanessa, Dalton and their mother Lisa, my barber.
Lisa dresses the kids up every Sunday she comes to church. She is a wonderful Mom.

okay....how about everyone showing their worst photo ever?!
I have one...I look absolutely disgusting! It was about 3 days after my reconstructive nose surgery (no - it wasn't a nose job - the reconstruction was all internal!)
I think it was one of the most excruciatingly painful experiences of my life. My entire face ended up turned green/yellow and took about 8 weeks to completely disappear as the color ran down my face and ended up at the bottom of my cheeks.
Hey, Boz, You da man on the other end of the phone. Good to have you here.

My wife and I were near St. Maartin onboard the Caribbean Princess and just leaving one of the dining rooms when we were ruthlessly attacked by pirates. Somehow we managed to escape.
BTW, she loves our tank and helps me name all the inhabitants. She is responsible for nameing our two cleaner shrimp (Scampi and Fried).
