No on the Mountain Brauhaus, but it sounds like a riot. Our family was always travelling from Rochester to Highland Falls via Binghamton (stopping at my father's favorite Greek diner-on-steroids called "The Spot"), so we never made it as far north as New Paltz. I did have one friend who taught Art at SUNY New Paltz, and another that recently finished graduate studies in Sculpture at Bard college near Kingston.

My Italian Grandmother always kept us well fed (of course), so we rarely went into Highland Falls proper except to help run errands, go to church on Sunday, or to buy balsa wood gliders or more bb's. Sometimes we would go to the West Point Museum.

It was great to wake up on beautiful autumn days to the distant sound of trains and tug boats on the Hudson. I think I'm gonna cry...

LOL - Awww, but did you get to attend any of the post-season games? Actually, I'm just assuming you're anywhere near Detroit - their fan base is pretty spread the F out.

Here's my new puppy. I got him on Saturday.

We live in Cincinnati. The drive to Detroit is about 4-5 hours. It's not bad, but we definitely have to reserve our trips to weekends. We were not able to get tickets for any playoff games this year, but we did go to game 5 of the Wings - Sharks series last year. That was the LOUDEST game I have ever been to!

Nice puppy, he will be a handful...

Damn Dick - you can just ID anything, can't you? He is an Irish Setter - 100%!

His name's Ronin, and my Sancha Kitten is not pleased.

One arena I NEVER want to be at is the American Airlines Center in Dallas. They have the worst fans I've ever seen! It's annoying just to watch them on TV...

My Sancha Kitten is still super pissed off. I also have two other cats who are not pleased.

And here's a picture of me w/ Ronin - showing my current hair color.

the highlight of our recent keys trip was a fishing trip aboard the Marathon Lady.

thats my girlfriend Lynn, who lives there, and a a friends son (son of Muzzy Arrowheads).

here is a slippery Porgie

And, it looks like we will be eating some fish!!! (They actually filet for you, 3 fish for a buck!!!) There are 64 fish there and YES, that IS my son sporting the SHORT haircut!!! As my mother always said "Leave them alone alone and they'll come home, wagging their tails behind them!"

A true dried in the sun fish-r-woman...

A slippery Porgie in one hand and a cool tinnie in the other. My brand too, Miller Lite.

Nice catch Laura. I like Dillon's new sporty look.
