That is awsome fat walrus. when do you have time to do keep up on those? How many tanks and gal do you own? I love the wood work there was a lot of time and care in doing that I bet. All I can say is awsome man. You have to be doing something right for your wife to put up with all that.

JR, i have at this point 28 tanks running. i have about 3000 gallons. i think the electric company and the water department know me by name!
its beautiful, whats the largest single tank in the system
are they all plumbed together, all three rooms?
in the cherry room, the largest tank is the free-standing one in front of the window. it is custom to match the horizontal lines of the wall units. that tank is appox 210 gallons. there is that little one at the doorway. that one is a custom cube once again to match lines....it is about 35 gallons. on the wall units, the big one on top in the big wall unit is on the same system of as the 2 top tanks on the smaller wall unit..... the sump is about 100 gallons and have a 7 foot tall ammonia tower. the middle tank on the big wall unit is tied into the cubicles underneath....the cubes serve as additional fuge and resting areas for new additions....there is a sump or aprrox 80 gals. the bottom tank on the small wall unit serves primarily as a quarantine/hospital. all the tanks have UVs. all the tanks were designed and custom built at the same time.....i'm still not quite finished yet.

Yee gads, I hope you're settled for awhile. I'd hate to move those fish room plus, all the stuff the wife has. I know about that wife stuff. We moved ourself to FL. I bought a 6 x 12' covered trailor. Sold off much of the junk in WI and still made 15 round trips to FL. I sware 14 of those trips were for her "treasures" as she puts it. The distance from our home in WI to our home in FL was 1435 miles. I love to drive but, it got ugly after awhile.

All hail KING Blubber!
nice room. nice tanks. very impressive. way to raise the bar!
Do you have any individual tank shots showing the inhabitants of each?
(Your dragons are very cool too!)
Who does all of the woodworking, Walrus??? I love Cherry.
my lfs has a guy that does custom work. the wall units had to built inside the room. i had to get a special permit because of the lacquer clearcoats, and the polyester overcoat. it took bribes and special ventilation and dust extraction equipment.
