I ran into a good deal on Red Slime Remover at at local fish store that was going out of business here in Jacksonville. I am selling it real cheap so if you need some I have 7 left on ebay right now. well im in the process of trying to ad a skimmer for the excess nutrients but you know how that stupid thing is designed ...thinking im just going to drill the back and put a bulk head on ether side to stub in a small fuge...just need to get rid of the cyano that exists now.
In the meantime I would try increasing the flow in the tank and reducing nutrients by feeding less, rinsing all frozen food, and/or more frequent water changes. Siphon the cyano when you do water changes.
