I used to live in the small(25 years ago) of Mt. Washington which is outside of Louisiville. Right pass Bargestown. Every heard of it?? I still have family living in Louisville. Why do you say it sucks??

Bobby

Have you ever given a tour(description) of your Frag Farm? Have you ever listed your corals that you growing and are you trying to sell them? I'm always looking for rare sps's that have great colors. We don't get that many different types down here that often. And when we do, look out they are super expensive!!!

On my frag tank, I have currently got it set up for soft corals. I have 4 -4' 40 watt bulbs on two fixtures. I have 2 power glo and 2 marine glo. I have had problems with my leather frags attaching to the rocks and I wonder if its because of the light system. Have you ever had any experience with these type lights? Do you think these lights are too low in power to be enough to light the frag tank? The tank size is 3'x4'x10". Its around 90 gallons.

for your leathers not attaching ... it could be the lighting. i have 3x110w VHO's on the softy side of my frag tank and 2x150w MH fixtures on the other end. it is an 8' tank, so the VHO's are 4' and the MH's are 2 fixtures at 2' each. my tank is only 12" tall, but i am still going to upgrade the 150 fixtures to 250 retros probably.

this tank is not ready for a tour right now (great suggestion though). i want to upgrade tanks because this one is acrylic and a PITA to keep from scratching up. it gets cleaned out about twice a month, but that is not really enough. i was thinking of giving it a good cleaning and doing a walk through on it, but have not had the time so far. between my JOB, wife, house, writing, i seem to be running a little short on time these days. i will try to get it up to walk through par and maybe run a short video for a podcast or something.

i do sell my frags on frags.org - Buy, Sell, and Trade Coral Frags for Free ... i have not been able to update my account on there for a little while, but when i get everything i want to frag in the tank i am going to take pics, and list them all on that site and probably on here also.
