ID please
I dont have a pic, because my camera is a point and shoot dig. not very good at close up pics. Maybe I can explain what I have in my tank and you could ID it for me. It's about 1/2 in. in diamater with 4 legs and what looks to be a nub. It's white and was on my glass a day after I introduced chaeto into my
sump . It looks like a baby Brittle star except it's white. Any idea?

He launched off the glass and landed into the sand, I just went back to see it, and it is gone nowhere to be seen. not 1/2in. but 1/4in. very small.

"hydrozoan jellyfish" or "Obelia" Not sure what to do with these, there's not a lot of info on them.

thanks for the pic, but no they actually look more like what I saw on another posting in the star fish area. It looked just like a brittle star.

No one's mentioned microstars yet. The guy in this pic is at most 1/4 inch leg tip to leg tip.

I have these little guys all over my tank. I have always thought of them as star fish and not jellyfish. I could be wrong though.
I have never researched them.
Now for the Amph #1 mini star, I have about 50 in my tank and i only started with around 20 around a month ago.

Check out this
link with a photo. Accordingto Wet Web Media (Eric Russell), they cause no harm and will go away on there own. Enjoy them while you can.

Unless you have seahorse fry or dwarf seahorses. Hydroids with sting them deader than dead.
Does it look anything like these but white.....
