just a ?

Hi,

I am new here and I was just curious as to adding a phosphate reactor. Just curious as to how they hook up,changing the phosphate stuff in them, how often and how much. What are some of the better brands out there? prices? would this be beneficial to a fish only with live rock tank? or should one only be used with coral? I was just wondering any help would be great and thank you for your time...........Shaun

Hi Shaun,

to TR. I don't use a phosphate reactor so I will leave your answer to people who really know the answer.

Shaun,
they are good devices if they are needed.
they can be used to run the PO4 media as well as other types of media

prices i have seen on them are under $100
i have never used one (never had the need) so i cant comment on the actually usage questions

and BTW, to Talkingreef..
