pump suggestion

i know nothing about pumps....so, am looking for some suggestions here

doing a closed-looped manifold system....tanks size is 110g tall (48"x18"x30").....from the floor to the top of the tank is 5 ft, perimeter....not sure if it matters, but would like to install my UV filter on the return line (turbo-twist 12x)

so, suggestions on what pump i should for this?...thx

i would look at quiet one, little giant, or iwalki pumps,
you can also check out mag drive pumps. they are cheaper, but louder and much hotter.

basically determine how much flow you need overall, and get your pump based on that.

regarding the UV, that will reduce your flow rate on the return so thats not a good idea, and to top it off, with the amount of water you are looking to push, you will be sending it through the UV too fast for it to be useful.
for UV to be effective, you need a long dwell time.. in other words the water has to pass the UV bulb slowly so the radiation can kill what it needs to kill, this is not "instant"
