just thought id put up a photo of my tank 6 months on from joining the forum and doing my cycle ... over time some people have seen my tank at early stages and thought it wasnt fair that you dont get to see it as i do now ..
loving it more every day ; ) ... as my first little attempt at it .. cant wait till ive done this one for a few years and make a larger version and get alot more creative ; )
BTW FYI this is my 34G .. 120L "mini tank" i recon its just a little too big to be called nano ; )
you know what els thats funny ... i have a BTA , Elegance, Torch and Hammer corals and my clowns wont host in anything .. lol win some loose some ey .... also do you think it is looking too messy ? like i should move things around try reconfigure it ?
I think it looks just fine. Fortunately, most of the corals you have are things easily moved if it becomes necessary.
Great looking tank I agree with Pearson it looks perfectly fine the way it is.

Ironicly I threw all that stuff out last weekend actually. My storage room used to be filled within 2 inches of opening the door. Now i can reach the window:D. Ive thrown out sh^t loads of previous toys, prjects & endevours. Lucky ive got enough bins for 2 houses..lol

9 months on and ive done a re-aquascape alot more natural i feel ; ) and less cluttered and all without causing a mini cycle ; ) will post pics soon currently got a bottle in the tank trying to catch a gorrila crab .. once its out ill take some snaps ; ) OH and also my clowns all of a sudden after about 2 months jumped into the anemone and have never left lol ; )

As promised the new pics ... looks bare now as i took most corals back to LFS going to more or less start over ; ) i am much much happier now
I like the islands and open sand between them.
Have you tried Rob's trick for getting the Clowns to host in the Anemone? Get them to start feeding from a dropper and then squirt the dropper into the Anemone for a while... Probably worth a try.

Mostly Rock no need my friend after 2 months of the BTA being in the tank i tihnk the female accidently brushed against it and loved it ? lol she thier in it now ; ) happy days ... ive also heard that you can print a picture of a clown in a anemone and that can work lol didnt have to resort to it tho
Very nice improvement, John. I like the canyon effect of the LR. Canyons are very common on the reef. Nice touch.
