I swear, I fall asleep listening to the podcast (no offense). I guess it's just me, but watching video seems a lot more intersting than listening to podcast.
Keep up the good work! Love the video podcasts! It's a lot easier to see watch to do versus listening, and imaginating what to do. I'd probably wouldn't survive in the Pre-1940's, since there really wasn't any tv.
O, one last thing...I just listened to the waves crashing on the shore line in the background of the last podcast (Phyto/Rotifers/Wed dry filters/overflow boxes) and swear, I got the best sleep in a year.
I swear, I was dreaming of being on the beach, nice warm sun shinning on me, and listening to the contant crashing of the waves.
Funny, I prefer the audio podcasts. I can listen to them while I am driving and do 2 things at once. Admittedly, there are lots of topics like fragging where an audio podcast would be far inferior. But, in general, give me audio.
thanks you for the comments.
as carmie stated, "most" members have preferred the audio as the primary means of delivering the show, because it allows them to listen while out and about, or to multitask while listening to the show. and due to video productions times that likely wont change.
however, there is a new project underway, that will bring you LOTS of video.
details of this project will likely be announce on the forums well before its mentioned on the show, so make sure you check back often..

I too am one that like the audio as the primary feed. But I love it when a video "special" is released!
I think this might be the third time I've heard of this future project....by the time it comes out we are all going to be falling off our seats in anticipation! LOL
You are doing a great job, both with the audio and video shows! keep up the great work!

lol.. yea i know...
it was an idea i stated with, and due to recent developments, it has taken a fast track to becoming reality, in that its going to start much soon than i originally anticipated.
i will likely talk about it in the weeks chat night (hint, hint.. show up if you want to hear about it) and them next week i will probably make the official announcement on the site.
