This is my first time posting on this message board. Just wanted to say that the shows are great and informative.
I actually have a question on your show for the salifert Ca Test Kit.
In your video I noticed that you wait till it turns a purple color. My test kit instructions say that I should wait till it turns a clear blue. I always questions myself on the way I was doing this test kit but Now Im unsure If I have been testing it right.
Reaching my 70th BD, I realize that I cannot help but grow old. However, I refuse to grow up!!! My wife would tell you, "He may be 70 but, He's going on 17". Life is wonderful with a woman like that.
kinda off on this but does anyone know if they make more "exact" tools for this test and would it be worth the extra $$$. id like to more more "exact" but would it really be required.

there are digital test kits, but using them and refilling them is VERY expensive relative to the liquid kits.
and how much more accurate are they?
well they will give you an exact reading, no questions about that, but how accurate is that reading? im sure its good, but i cant compare it to a liquid kit, but i would say its t last as good hopefully better...
im sorry i cant find a link to them now.. will keep looking though

yes, the digital PH gives you a constant reading, the other digital test in question still need reagents and chemical mixing, but the output will be given on a digital readout. what this means is that you still have to replace.refill the reagents
