I am interested in the idea of adding a refugium but not dealing with yet another light and I am not having any problem with nitrates so don't thinking about doing any macro. Rob, you mentioned something about using egg crate and something to help cultivate different pods. What was that other media? Also would I be able to just add one of these into my existing sump that way I wouldn't have to add another pump and container? Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
yes, nothing really special needed.
you can add regular base rock or live rock, you can use filter pads supported by egg create like Dave mentioned, basically anything to increase surface area
