We told Gwen that she sounded fine...even if it did take three hours to get her to stop giggling and get a podcast done
Okay..all kidding aside, Podcasting is NOT easy. Any form of public speaking is not very easy..unless you are a master of the subject matter. I've learned this after 16 years of National Security briefings to various audiences.
However, if you are a master of the subject material... it can be quite easy..and fun. With that said, have you got a niche'? I'd love to help Rob with more podcasts (and I will) but am so far from "all knowing". So, I keep my inputs to those subjects that I'm confident in.
What are you confident in? J.K. knows his Gonioporas like nobody else. It's obvious that Rob knows how to take up square footage of his home (god bless his wife) and make it into a marine biology lab. Sanjay IS "lights" and I know a bit about seahorses and other topics. What do you have up your sleeves?
Are you knowledgeable about electrical? An acrylic guru? What about the self taught, self proclaimed "naturalists"? Have you ever taken part in a marine survey? What about the "lessons learned" folks. What have you done that has gone right; what have you done that went wrong and you really want to spare us the same misery.
I agree...Gwen should and most likely will be part of future podcasts. However, this community, administered by "volunteers", will also depend on what you bring to the table. I, for one, LOVE learning from peers. I challenge you to make me say "hmmmmm". Think of a topic, a talent of yours, or something you've recently researched, and bring it to Rob's attention. He'd love to talk about it...
Only thing I'm good at was growing hair algea. LOL And that was simple....just use tap water for a while. Still dealing with that MONTHS after switching over to RODI water. The lawn is slowly getting better and going away. This is one thing you can get fast, and takes some time to get rid of.

I agree with Dave- get with Rob if you wanna get on the show- share your knowledge!! I've done it, don't need to do it again unless they pull my arm again! It was so much fun though and I really enjoyed it.
I am thinking about doing a tank tour video though... we'll see.
