Skype?

Talk shoe proved to be a great challenge tonight for many. Has there been any discussion of alternative programs to use which may be more user friendly? Such as Skype, Ventrillo, teamspeak, or any others? Skype seems to be one of the most popular world wide. Ventrillo has great quality, yet it might be lacking in the abilty for Rob to decide who may speak and who is muted and may allow users to interrupt one another, I am not sure. But it can easily handle up to around 60 users no problem with excellent sound quality. Team speak is very similar to Ventrillo, yet is weak, and sometimes is not the highest quality audio which is desired for Podcast production. So then there is Skype... would this have everything we are looking for? I don't know. Any thoughts?

hello,
i think Talkshoe is one of the best solutions out there.. i think many of the issues that came about were because most of are new. there are many alternative ways to connect to Talkshoe, including most VoIP and SIP clients (such as Skype).

i think the next show will go a lot better.. and hopefully listeners will be able to get there equipment working faster this time too..

using skype call test is also a great way to test your setup (using skype and calling "echo123")
