Macro Algae

Doing a good job!!

My question is on Macro Algae.

1) How important is it & is it needed. I have some cheato's in my fuge with some live rock rubble & live sand.

2) On some of my live rock in my main tank I'm starting to see a couple leafy macro algae growth. Should i just leave it alone or should I remove it. I like the way it looks in my tank. It give it a more natural look to the tank.
